My mother, Nora Williams, is the owner of Williams Dog Training Company. In the earlier years, our school was mostly a family-run business, therefore I was expected from a very young age to learn all aspects of our industry. Throughout my childhood and teenage years, I was taught how to train and care for most every breed of dog. Even as a little girl my ability to handle and understand not only dogs, but animals in general, came quite naturally. Although there was a point in time that I left to pursue different interests, such as attending college and starting a family, ultimately my passion brings me back to work with dogs.

My mother and I are very blessed to have watched Williams Dog Training Company grow from a very small, family-run business into a well established company that employees seven full-time professional dog trainers. What impresses me the most about our school is although we have evolved and grown over the years, our standard for training and dog care has never changed. My mother, our staff and I take a great deal of pride in the loving environment that we provide to our four-legged students and the awesome results we guarantee to our clients.

I knew at a young age that I wanted to work with animals when I grew up. My mother tells me that I was always fascinated with them before I can even remember. As a child I would frequently visit the local animal shelter or pet store to pet, hold or play with any dog or puppy that I could get my hands on. At 17 years old I found Williams Dog Training Company, a school for training dogs, only a half a mile from where I grew up. I mustered up the courage to knock on the door to ask for a job there and was greeted by Nora Williams, who welcomed me in. I explained to Nora how much I loved animals and how much I would appreciate a job at her school. From one animal lover to another, she could tell I was sincere. That day was over 15 years ago. From day one I was trained hands-on by some of the best dog trainers and handlers in the world.

My dreams of working with animals have been fulfilled here and training them has become my passion. With over 15 years of experience I continue to learn with each dog that walks through our doors here at school. I actually look forward to coming to work everyday because I love what I do … I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

My name is Allyson Flash I have lived in Cape May Court House all of my life. I have been a part of Williams Dog Training Company for about three years now and I have loved every day of it. When I go home at night I feel complete when I fall asleep for I know that I spent my day helping the very beast I adore most, and their loving families that desperately call on us for help. I have owned dogs all of my life and have always been fascinated by the fact that Dog somehow became Mans best friend. Out of all of the beasts in the animal kingdom Man and Dog found and chose each other, that was for a special reason and that reason is still quite apparent today!

I have known that I have always wanted to work with animals every since I was a little girl and grew up with a house and backyard full of animals. Pursuing this passion for animals, I attended college in New York and received my BS in Psychology/Biology with the desire to train animals. After traveling the country for several years, I have finally settled back home in South Jersey where I have found my niche training dogs here at Williams Dog Training Company. It is my pleasure to come to work every morning and be greeted by barking dogs telling me how much they have missed me overnight. I could not ask for a better career or a better team of people that I work with here at Williams Dog Training Company.

I was raised in Cape May, New Jersey and attended college at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. Despite a Wildlife Conservation degree I went into the Mortgage Banking profession after college. This turned out to be very successful however unfulfilling eight year career for me. When the real estate market started to crash I had time to reevaluate my life and career path and decided to move back home to South Jersey and pursue my true passion of working with animals. I have always been an avid dog lover and currently have two dogs of my own, a boxer mix and a plott hound. When the opportunity arose to work as a dog trainer I jumped at the chance and now I can honestly say that my job is both fulfilling and rewarding and I enjoy it more every day.
